Job summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to handle daily cash transactions, maintain accurate financial records, assist with bank deposits, and keep basic inventory records. Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Receive, record, and balance daily cash transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of cash received and expenses.
- Reconcile cash and report discrepancies promptly.
- Make bank deposits and maintain deposit records when required.
- Maintain basic inventory/stock records and assist with stock checks.
- Keep receipts, payment records, and financial documents properly organised.
- Assist with basic accounting and administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cashier, Accountant, Accounts Assistant, or in a similar role is required/preferred.
- Minimum of an OND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Honest, trustworthy, and responsible with cash.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to balance cash and maintain proper records.
Remuneration: NGN 80,000 Monthly
