Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Cashier to handle customer payments, issue receipts, and ensure accurate cash handling and transaction recording. The ideal candidate should be honest, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process payments (cash, card, transfer, or POS).
- Issue receipts, refunds, or changes accurately.
- Balance the cash register at the start and end of shifts.
- Record daily transactions and maintain sales records.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic payment issues.
- Ensure proper pricing and scanning of items.
- Maintain cleanliness and order at the cashier station.
- Report any discrepancies or cash shortages immediately.
- Support general customer service operations when needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Minimum of an SSCE
Working Conditions:
- Shift-based work, including weekends and public holidays.
- Fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
