Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Process cash, POS, bank transfer, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Issue receipts and maintain proper records of all daily transactions.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently.
- Attend to guest inquiries and resolve payment-related issues professionally.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare daily sales reports and submit them to management.
- Ensure accuracy in billing and pricing at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional cashier station.
Requirements:
- Adhere strictly to company financial controls and cash-handling policies.
- At least 1–2 years of experience as a Cashier in a hotel, restaurant, lounge, or similar hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
