Job summary
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, responsible and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing attentive care, supervision and support to young learners, ensuring their safety, comfort, hygiene and general well-being within the school environment.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and supervision for young learners.
- Assist children with feeding, toileting and personal hygiene.
- Ensure children are safe and comfortable throughout the school day.
- Support children during classroom activities, playtime and rest periods.
- Attend to children who are crying, distressed or unwell and promptly report concerns.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and child-friendly environment.
- Assist teachers in managing children's daily routines.
- Observe and report any unusual behaviour, injuries or health concerns.
- Follow the school's child protection, safety and safeguarding policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE; NCE or relevant childcare qualification is an added advantage.
- Previous experience working with children in a school, creche or daycare is an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic childcare, hygiene and safety practices.
- First Aid training or certification is an added advantage.
- Must be patient, caring, trustworthy, attentive and responsible.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must demonstrate a genuine passion for caring for children.
Personal Qualities:
- Excellent attitude towards children.
- Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
- Good personal hygiene and neat appearance.
- Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
- Ability to remain calm and attentive under pressure.
