Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance.
- Support elderly clients and individuals with limited mobility or special care needs.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal planning, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders (non-administration).
- Offer companionship, social interaction, and emotional support.
- Escort clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
- Ensure safety monitoring, fall prevention, and routine reminders.
- Provide dementia and Alzheimer’s non-medical support.
- Deliver respite care and short-term relief for family caregivers.
- Assist with basic home management, scheduling, and organising paperwork.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience
- Minimum of SSCE
- Caregiver certification or Nursing Assistant training
- First aid & CPR certification
- Time Management
- Infection Control
- Communication skills
- Teamwork & collaboration
- Safety & emergency awareness
- Good documentation skills
- Professional appearance and hygiene
