Cake Decorator

Responsibilities:

• Decorate and finish cakes to a professional standard using buttercream, whipped cream, fondant, and other appropriate materials.
  
• Execute cake designs based on customer requirements, reference images, and provided specifications.
  
• Ensure neat finishing, attractive presentation, and consistent quality across all decorated cakes.
  
• Apply creative techniques to produce visually appealing cake designs.
  
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety when handling cakes and decorating materials.
  
• Manage decorating tasks efficiently to meet customer orders and deadlines.
  
• Collaborate with other bakery team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  
• Assist with other relevant bakery tasks when required.

Requirements:

• OND/HND in a relevant field.
  
• Proven hands-on experience as a Cake Decorator or in a similar role.
  
• Practical skills in working with buttercream, whipped cream, and fondant.
  
• Strong attention to detail and a good sense of colour, design, and presentation.
  
• Ability to execute cake designs neatly and consistently.
  
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and meet customer deadlines.
  
• Good knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety practices.
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
• Good communication skills, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  
• Must reside within approximately 30 minutes of the workplace.

Compensation & Benefits: NGN 100,000 monthly net salary.
