Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Business Studies lessons according to the curriculum.
- Teach topics including commerce, office practice, business concepts, and entrepreneurship.
- Use practical examples to help students understand business principles.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and examination materials.
- Assess students’ academic progress and provide feedback.
- Encourage students to develop entrepreneurial and financial awareness.
- Maintain effective classroom management.
- Participate in school activities and academic programmes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Business Education, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the secondary-school Business Studies curriculum.
- Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong classroom-management abilities.
- TRCN certification is an advantage.
