Responsibilities:
Market Research & Lead Generation:
- Conduct detailed market research to identify new B2B partnership opportunities (corporates, telcos, brands, institutions).
- Build and maintain a structured lead database segmented by sector, region, and engagement potential.
- Track and analyze market trends in edtech, creative economy, and CSR sponsorship to support strategic decision-making.
Business Development Support:
- Assist in drafting partnership proposals, presentations, and sponsorship documents for corporate and institutional clients.
- Participate in stakeholder calls and followups, documenting outcomes and ensuring action items are executed promptly.
- Coordinate outreach campaigns targeting strategic partners (banks, FMCGs, media houses, and development agencies).
- Support the preparation of pitch decks, memos, and post-meeting reports for senior management.
Brand & Event Outreach:
- Support event planning, outreach, and logistics for Learnstar’s major events (Creative Summit, Skills for All initiatives).
- Manage guest and partner communications pre- and post-event to ensure smooth relationship management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to amplify partnership visibility through newsletters, press releases, and social media.
Data Tracking & Reporting:
- Track business development metrics and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Generate weekly and monthly progress reports on outreach, lead status, and partnership development.
- Contribute to KPI tracking dashboards and measure engagement success rates.
Relationship Management
- Maintain communication with existing partners, sponsors, and collaborators to nurture long term relationships.
- Represent Learnstar in select industry events and partnership meetings, under supervision.
- Draft professional emails, letters, and business correspondence that align with Learnstar’s communication standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong academic background and demonstrable interest in entrepreneurship, partnerships, and creative industries.
- Prior internship or volunteer experience in business development, marketing, or communications (preferred but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with CRM tools, market research methods, and business presentation software (PowerPoint, Notion, or Google Workspace).
- Exposure to event coordination or stakeholder management is an added advantage.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal English, capable of producing business-standard reports and correspondence.
- Able to gather data, synthesize insights, and make practical recommendations.
- Capable of managing multiple outreach pipelines simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and discretion when handling partner interactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Canva, AI and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot or Zoho).
- Works effectively within cross-functional teams, exhibiting initiative and adaptability.
- Demonstrated ability to work towards measurable outcomes under minimal supervision.
