Job summary
Runlink AI (Lagos) is a tech-driven HR platform that connects talent with Chinese enterprises across Africa. We seek a Business Development Manager to hunt clients and close deals. Need: 2+ yrs B2B sales in Nigeria, fluent English, Mandarin a big plus. Base: ₦200K-250K/mo + uncapped commission.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Identifying Opportunities: Researching market trends, analyzing competitors, and spotting unmet customer needs or new geographic markets.
- Generating Leads & Partnerships: Pitching to prospective clients, attending industry events, and negotiating strategic partnerships to establish co-branded campaigns or new distribution channels.
- Closing Deals: Negotiating pricing, drafting sales contracts, and managing high-value key accounts from the top of the sales funnel to final closure.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborating with marketing and product teams to launch new services and forecast revenue projections.
- 2+ years of proven B2B sales or business development experience in Nigeria; experience serving Chinese clients is a strong plus.
- Fluent English is mandatory; Mandarin Chinese (spoken) is a huge advantage—you will communicate with Chinese bosses daily.
- Existing network or relationships with Chinese business circles in Lagos (e.g., Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone, Lekki, Ikeja) are highly preferred.
- Self-starter, thick-skinned, and hungry to earn commission. We need doers, not talkers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; HND accepted with a solid sales track record.
- Must be based in Lagos or willing to relocate immediately.
Remuneration: NGN 200,000 -250,000
