Responsibilities:
Business Development and Growth:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, clients, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and business growth.
- Research market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop proposals, presentations, and business pitches for prospective clients and partners.
- Follow up on leads and opportunities from initial contact through conversion.
Client and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Maintain regular communication with key clients and business partners.
- Identify opportunities to upsell, cross sell, and increase client retention.
- Address client concerns professionally and ensure appropriate follow-up.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Set and work towards monthly and quarterly business development targets.
- Convert qualified leads into paying clients.
- Monitor sales performance and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Work with the relevant teams to create attractive packages, offers, and business solutions.
Partnerships and Corporate Accounts:
- Identify potential corporate partners, institutions, organisations, and strategic partners.
- Initiate partnership discussions and coordinate relationship development.
- Prepare partnership proposals and support contract negotiations where required.
- Maintain a database of existing and prospective partners.
- Explore opportunities for corporate partnerships, referrals, collaborations, and joint initiatives.
Marketing Support:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns that support business growth.
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to improve marketing strategies.
- Participate in networking events, exhibitions, conferences, and promotional activities.
- Represent the organization professionally when engaging with potential clients and partners.
Reporting and Performance Tracking:
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, clients, partnerships, and sales activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
- Track lead conversion, revenue generated, client acquisition, and partnership performance.
- Provide management with regular updates on opportunities, challenges, and market trends.
- Use data and performance results to recommend improvements to business development strategies.
Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with operations, finance, marketing, customer service, and management teams.
- Ensure that client commitments and partnership agreements are properly communicated to relevant departments.
- Support the development of new products, services, and packages based on market demand.
- Contribute ideas that improve customer experience and overall business performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, management, communications, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, client relationship management, or a related role.
- Experience in developing partnerships and generating new business will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to meet sales or business growth targets is preferred.
