Role Summary:
We are seeking a results driven Business Development Manager with strong digital marketing expertise to drive growth, partnerships, visibility, and revenue for the Nigeria Investment Forum. This role is for a strategic thinker who understands branding, audience growth, sponsorship acquisition, and digital campaigns, and can convert online engagement into measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate must be proactive, innovative, and capable of working independently to deliver results without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
-Business Development & Partnerships
-Identify, develop, and secure strategic partnerships and sponsorships for NIF events and initiatives
-Pitch NIF to corporate organizations, institutions, SMEs, and high net worth individuals
-Develop sponsorship decks, proposals, and partnership strategies aligned with NIF goals
-Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, and stakeholders
-Track leads, conversions, and partnership outcomes
-Digital Marketing & Growth
-Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid ads
-Grow NIF’s online presence, event registrations, and brand visibility
Manage content strategy in collaboration with the media/content team
-Use data and analytics to optimize campaigns and improve conversion rates
-Leverage WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms strategically
-Strategy & Execution
-Develop and execute growth strategies for annual forums and year-round initiatives
-Translate NIF’s vision and themes into compelling digital and commercial messaging
-Monitor trends in investment, finance, and digital engagement to keep NIF relevant
-Support event planning teams with audience acquisition and engagement strategies
Requirements & Qualifications:
-Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or sales
-Strong hands on experience in digital marketing (organic and paid)
-Demonstrated ability to close deals and generate revenue
-Excellent communication, pitching, and negotiation skills
-Ability to work independently and take ownership of targets
-Experience working with events, conferences, forums, or investment platforms is an advantage
-Strong understanding of Nigeria’s business and investment landscape
- Must reside within Ajah-Lekki axis
