Business Development Account Executive
Job summary
The Account Executive is responsible for driving new restaurant acquisition and revenue growth. This role owns the full sales cycle, from identifying and engaging prospective restaurant partners to closing deals and ensuring a smooth handoff to onboarding.

Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify and target high-quality restaurant partners (from casual to premium dining)
- Conduct outbound outreach via calls, email, and in-person visits where applicable
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective partners
Sales Process Management:
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → demo → negotiation → close
- Conduct product demos tailored to restaurant needs
- Clearly communicate the platform’s value proposition and ROI
Closing & Revenue Growth:
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and subscription plans
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Drive new revenue through strategic partnerships
Market & Customer Insights:
- Understand the local restaurant landscape and competitive positioning
- Gather insights from prospects to inform product and pricing strategy
- Provide feedback to internal teams on objections and market trends
Collaboration & Handoff:
- Work closely with the Restaurant Success team to ensure smooth onboarding
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
- Align with marketing on campaigns and lead generation efforts
Requirements:
- Experience in sales, business development, or partnerships (preferably SaaS, hospitality, or marketplace platforms)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipelines
