Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels.
- Safely drive passengers along designated routes while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist passengers, particularly the elderly or disabled, with embarking and disembarking, as well as managing luggage.
- Adhere to strict, timely schedules and communicate any delays to dispatchers and passengers.
- Keep the vehicle clean and sanitary, and report all mechanical issues immediately to maintenance staff.
- Complete daily logs, including passenger counts, fuel usage, and mileage reports.
- Maintain discipline on the vehicle, ensuring a safe and courteous environment, particularly for school bus drivers, as seen on this YouTube video.
- Actively manage emergencies or passenger injuries by following company protocols and contacting emergency services.
Requirements:
- Minimum of S.S.C.E qualification with relevant experience.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must possess good experience in driving a school bus.
Remuneration: NGN 80,000
