Job summary

We are seeking a physically fit, disciplined, and professional Bouncer to join our security team in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining order, ensuring the safety of guests and staff, controlling access to the premises, and preventing disturbances within the establishment.

Responsibilities:

  • Control access to the premises by verifying authorised entry and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Welcome guests professionally while maintaining a secure environment.
  • Monitor guest behaviour and identify potential security risks or disturbances.
  • Prevent unauthorised entry, theft, vandalism, violence, and other disruptive activities.
  • Politely refuse entry to individuals who are intoxicated, aggressive, underage (where applicable), or otherwise in violation of company policies.
  • De-escalate conflicts and resolve disputes calmly and professionally before they escalate.
  • Escort disruptive or disorderly individuals off the premises using only reasonable and proportionate measures when necessary.
  • Conduct routine patrols of guest areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and other designated locations.
  • Assist with crowd management during busy periods, special events, and private functions.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, fights, medical incidents, fire alarms, and other security-related situations.
  • Work closely with the Security Team, Management, and law enforcement agencies when required.
  • Prepare accurate incident and security reports.
  • Ensure emergency exits remain accessible at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company operations and guest information.
  • Comply with all company security procedures, workplace policies, and applicable laws.
  • Perform any other security-related duties assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of an S.S.C.E
  • 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
