Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Sage 300
- Record daily transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and receipts
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare monthly financial summaries and management reports
- Support VAT, WHT, and other statutory filings as required
- Maintain proper documentation and organised financial records
- Assist with audits and internal financial reviews
- Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards
- Work closely with management to support financial control and reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
- Strong, practical experience with Sage 300 (mandatory)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and internal controls
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in an office-based environment
- ICAN- AATN (Associate of the Association of Accounting Technicians of Nigeria)
