Role Description This is a full-time, remote Blockchain Developer role. The Blockchain Developer will design, implement, and maintain smart contracts and blockchain-based services that support xentfi’s hybrid finance products. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing back-end services, integrating blockchain nodes and APIs, and developing secure transaction and wallet workflows. The role involves collaborating with product managers and other engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, as well as reviewing code, writing tests, and participating in architecture discussions. The Blockchain Developer will also monitor network performance, address scalability and security concerns, and keep the team informed about relevant blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem updates.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency concepts, including consensus mechanisms, tokens, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.
• Practical experience with Cryptography, such as public-key cryptography, hashing, digital signatures, and secure key management.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, using languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Rust, or Python, along with APIs, microservices, and databases.
• Experience developing, testing, and deploying smart contracts on major blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, EVM-compatible chains), using tools such as Hardhat, Truffle, or Foundry.
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols, wallets, and on-chain integrations, including handling transactions, gas optimization, and event monitoring.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code; perform code reviews; and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication, and comfort working in a distributed, asynchronous team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in fintech or financial services is a plus.
