Biology Teacher

Responsibilities:

Teaching and Instruction:

• Plan and deliver well-structured biology lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
• Explain biological concepts clearly using demonstrations, models, and real-life examples.
• Encourage student participation and active learning.

Curriculum Implementation:

• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and learning activities.
• Ensure lessons align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
• Integrate laboratory and practical activities into teaching.

Laboratory Supervision:

• Organize and supervise biology laboratory experiments and practical sessions.
• Ensure students follow laboratory safety procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and biological specimens.

Student Assessment and Evaluation:

• Design and administer tests, quizzes, assignments, and examinations.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student academic progress.

Student Support and Mentorship:

• Provide academic support to students who require additional assistance.
• Encourage student interest in biological sciences and research.
• Support students in science-related projects and competitions.

Professional and School Engagement:

• Participate in academic meetings and departmental activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and learning outcomes.
• Contribute to extracurricular programs such as science clubs or environmental initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience
• Minimum of an NCE
