Beader

Responsibilities:

Beading & Embellishment:

• Hand-sew beads, sequins, crystals, pearls, stones, and rhinestones on fabrics
• Read designer sketches and translate them into bead patterns
• Work on corsets, bridal gowns, evening dresses, asoebi, and bespoke pieces
• Do 3D beadwork, appliqué beading, and border finishing
• Ensure beads are tightly secured and will not fall off

Quality & Detailing:

• Match bead colors and sizes to design specifications
• Maintain neatness: no loose threads, no uneven spacing, no glue stains
• Do repairs and touch-ups on beadwork before final delivery
• Protect fabric while beading to avoid damage or puckering

Production:

• Meet daily/weekly production targets without compromising quality
• Work with cutters, joiners, and finishers to keep production flow
• Track materials used and report shortages of beads, thread, and needles

Workshop Duties:

• Keep beading area clean and organized
• Take care of beading tools: needles, thread, glue, bead mats
• Collaborate with team for fittings and final garment checks

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional beading experience. Portfolio of bridal/bespoke beadwork required
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Knowledge of different bead types: seed beads, bugle beads, crystals, rhinestones
• Ability to do both delicate and heavy beadwork
• Fast but neat. Can work under deadlines for events/weddings
• Knowledge of fabric types: lace, tulle, duchess, organza
• Creative eye, patient, and passionate about luxury finishing
