Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Basic Technology lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach technical drawing, materials, tools, machines, safety, and basic technology concepts.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and activities.
- Teach students proper and safe use of tools and equipment.
- Prepare assignments, tests, and examination materials.
- Assess students’ theoretical and practical knowledge.
- Maintain appropriate classroom and workshop safety standards.
- Support students in developing practical problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Technology Education, Engineering, Technical Education, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the secondary-school Basic Technology curriculum.
- Practical knowledge of tools, materials, and technical processes.
- Teaching experience is an advantage.
- Strong classroom-management and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise practical activities safely.
