Responsibilities:
- Execute various haircuts, including fades, tapers, buzz cuts, and classic scissor cuts tailored to the client's head shape and hair type.
- Provide expert grooming, shaping, and trimming of facial hair, including the traditional "straight razor" hot towel shave.
- Apply hair color, relaxers, or permanent waves to alter hair texture or appearance as requested.
- Perform invigorating scalp massages and facial treatments to promote skin health and relaxation.
- Clean, sharpen, and disinfect tools such as clippers, trimmers, shears, and straight razors to ensure safety and hygiene.
Requirements:
- High proficiency in clipper-over-comb and scissor-over-comb techniques.
- A keen eye for symmetry, detail, and the ability to visualize a finished look before starting.
- Excellent verbal skills to conduct thorough consultations and provide product recommendations for home maintenance.
- Resilience to stand for the majority of the workday and maintain steady hands throughout intricate detail work.
