Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist bartenders with beverage preparation and service
- Set up and restock the bar before, during, and after service
- Prepare basic ingredients such as syrups, garnishes, and mixers
- Ensure glassware, ice, and bar supplies are readily available
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, equipment, and workstations
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and operational standards
- Assist with stock handling and adhere to FIFO procedures
- Support the team during peak service periods
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: OND
- Basic knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, and bar operations
- Previous hospitality or bar experience is an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and late shifts
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards
