Job summary

The Bank Reconciliation Officer ensures daily reconciliation of company bank accounts with the ERP system, prepares monthly reports, and posts bank charges and interest. The role involves prompt resolution of discrepancies and collaboration with internal teams and bank officers to maintain accurate financial records.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Daily reconciliation of all Neimeth bank accounts with the ERP to ensure transactions are posted in real-time.
  • Generation of monthly bank reconciliation reports.
  • Ensure that issues identified during reconciliation are resolved immediately.
  • Monthly posting of bank charges and interest into the ERP.
  • Re-computation of bank charges on all accounts to avoid excessive bank charges.
  • Liaise with both internal parties (sales team, depot cashiers & storekeepers, Account Department, etc.) and external parties (Company’s Bank Officers) to resolve issues identified during the reconciliation exercise.
  • Any other role may be assigned by either the Treasury Manager or the Head of Finance.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience
  • Minimum of a BSc
