Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Ingredients: Measuring, weighing, and preparing ingredients according to recipes.
- Mixing and Kneading: Mixing ingredients and kneading dough for bread, cakes, and pastries.
- Baking Products: Operating ovens and baking equipment to produce quality baked goods.
- Decoration and Presentation: Decorating, packaging, and presenting baked products attractively.
- Maintaining Hygiene: Keeping the bakery, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitary.
- Quality Control: Ensuring baked products meet the required standards of taste, texture, freshness, and appearance.
- Stock and Waste Management: Monitoring ingredients, checking expiry dates, and minimising waste.
- Customer Service and Teamwork: Preparing customer orders on time and working effectively with other bakery staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of SSCE.
- 3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
Remuneration: NGN 150,000
