Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct employee and candidate background checks.
- Verify academic qualifications, employment history, references, and other relevant information.
- Carry out due diligence investigations in line with company procedures.
- Prepare detailed and accurate verification reports.
- Identify discrepancies, potential risks, and red flags.
- Maintain confidentiality and properly manage sensitive information.
- Liaise with relevant institutions, organizations, and referees during verification processes.
- Maintain proper records and documentation of completed checks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or HND in a relevant discipline.
- Experience in background verification, investigations, compliance, audit, or a related field is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to conduct thorough research and follow up on information.
