Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient server-side systems, APIs, and databases. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications and optimal performance.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing server-side logic, database integration, and API connectivity.
Creating and maintaining RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, or other API architectures.
Designing, implementing, and optimising database schema, queries, and performance.
Integrating third-party services, libraries, and tools.
Implementing security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.
Ensuring the backend system can handle increased traffic and load.
Writing unit tests, integration tests, and debugging code.
Working with frontend developers, DevOps, and other teams.
Updating, refactoring, and optimising existing code.
Identifying and resolving issues, debugging, and performance optimisation.

Requirements:

1+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
Strong knowledge of .NET / C#, SQL, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with JavaScript or React / Next.js is an advantage.
Understanding of version control (Git).
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
