Research and identify qualified software, SaaS, digital agency, and IT service company leads across the Netherlands and Belgium. Analyze business growth and hiring signals, identify key decision-makers, maintain accurate research records, and provide actionable insights that support Alpha Global's business development efforts.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Research European software companies, SaaS/product teams, digital agencies, IT service providers, and partner channels.
  • Screen companies and identify whether they may need extra software development capacity.
  • Look for hiring signals, growth signals, active client projects, delivery pressure, team expansion, or partner potential.
  • Find decision-makers such as founders, CEOs, CTOs, owners, managing directors, technical directors, or heads of delivery.
  • Collect company websites, LinkedIn profiles, and relevant source links.
  • Write one clear sentence explaining why each company may be relevant.
  • Organize all research neatly in Google Sheets.
  • Mark companies by priority: P1, P2, or Skip.
  • Report weekly progress and blockers clearly.


Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant field.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional research experience in B2B lead research, prospect research, sales support, recruitment sourcing, market research, or a research-heavy VA role.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience researching and identifying business contacts, decision-makers, and company stakeholders.
  • Fluent in web research, including Google Search, LinkedIn research, company websites, careers pages, directories, job boards, and public business information sources.
  • Strong Google Sheets skills, with the ability to keep research clean, structured, and easy to review.
  • Good written English, with the ability to write short and clear business notes.
  • Ability to recognize business signals such as hiring activity, growth, active client projects, delivery pressure, software team expansion, or partner potential.
  • Basic understanding of software companies, SaaS/product companies, digital agencies, IT service providers, or technology businesses.
  • Close attention to detail. Duplicates, broken links, wrong contacts, random companies, and vague notes are not acceptable.
  • Based in Lagos or able to commute to the Lagos office.
