Role: Automation Test Engineer

Location: Remote

Role Overview:

We are hiring an Automation Test Engineer to build and scale the automated

testing infrastructure that validates Joveo's platform at every release.

You will write automation code that is as production-grade as the product

itself — enabling continuous deployment with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and implement scalable test automation frameworks from scratch or evolve existing ones

- Write automated tests across UI, API, integration, and performance layers

- Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality gates

- Analyze flaky tests, diagnose root causes, and build stable, repeatable coverage

- Work closely with developers to shift quality left in the development cycle

- Report test metrics, coverage gaps, and risk areas to engineering leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium

- Solid scripting skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

- Familiarity with API automation testing frameworks and tools

- Understanding of test design patterns (Page Object Model, BDD frameworks)

- Experience with performance and load testing tools (k6, JMeter, or Locust) is a plus
