Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Associate Lawyer position based in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. The role involves handling various legal tasks, including corporate and commercial law matters, real estate transactions, immigration cases, dispute resolution processes, and corporate governance. The Associate Lawyer will interact closely with clients, provide legal advice, prepare contracts and legal documentation, and represent clients in negotiations or proceedings when necessary. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality legal services.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of post-call experience in legal practice.
- Strong expertise in Litigation Practice, Dispute Resolution and Corporate and Commercial Law
- Exceptional skills in legal research, drafting, and document preparation.
- Proficiency in client relations, negotiation, and providing tailored legal advice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Experience in Immigration Law or Corporate Governance is an added advantage.
- Barrister and Solicitor status and a valid practicing license for legal practice in Nigeria.
