Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Head Chef to support kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and kitchen leadership, with the ability to uphold high culinary standards, supervise teams effectively, and ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene and operational standards.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, preparing, and executing meals for all hotel outlets, banquets, and room service.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff; oversee workflow and maintain discipline.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations (HACCP/ISO 22000).
- Support menu planning, recipe costing, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Monitor inventory, prevent food waste, and collaborate with procurement for cost control.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and enforce safety protocols.
- Coordinate with F&B and Front of House teams to ensure timely meal delivery and guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Food Health & Safety Certification (HACCP, ISO 22000, ServSafe, or equivalent).
- Diploma/Certificate in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or Hospitality.
- 3–5 years’ culinary experience, including supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian, Continental, and international cuisine.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
