Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday (Alternate Saturdays)

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Summary

Security Doors Manufacturing Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architect to join its design and production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the architectural design, detailing, and supervision of high-quality security doors and related metalwork products. This role requires a balance of creative design thinking and technical expertise, with strong 2D and 3D visualization skills and close collaboration with engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce architectural and technical drawings for security door models and related fittings.
• Design innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing security doors aligned with company standards.
• Translate client requirements into practical, production-ready design solutions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure feasibility, durability, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare detailed 3D renderings and presentation drawings for client review and approval.
• Supervise factory production and/or installations to ensure adherence to approved designs.
• Maintain an updated library of materials, finishes, and hardware specifications.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety, structural, and industry standards.
• Conduct site or factory inspections to verify design accuracy during fabrication and assembly.

Requirements & Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in architectural design (manufacturing or metalwork experience is an advantage).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and CorelDRAW (or similar design software).
• Strong understanding of materials used in metal, wood, and glass fabrication.
• Excellent detailing, spatial visualization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with clients, engineers, and technicians.
• High level of creativity, attention to detail, and time management ability.
• Proximity to Ikota, Ajah, Lekki, or surrounding areas is highly preferred.

• Competitive salary (₦180,000 – ₦250,000+, commensurate with experience).
