Administrative Officer
Job summary
Chelis Group is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Administrative Officer to join our growing team at the Head Office in Surulere, Lagos State. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of Chelis Group and its sister companies.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage general office operations, supplies, correspondence, and filing systems.
- Support basic accounting functions, including invoicing, expense tracking, and petty cash management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and administrative records.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other business documentation as required.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and external partners to ensure office needs are met efficiently.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive on official assignments when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the office.
Requirements:
- B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years post-NYSC work experience in administrative and accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with practical driving experience.
- Residence within proximity or reasonable commuting distance to Bode Thomas, Surulere, Lagos State will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to work two (2) Saturdays per month.
