Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file statutory returns, including VAT, PAYE, WHT, and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditure to ensure financial efficiency.
• Assist with payroll processing and related reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and applicable laws.
• Generate management reports and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• ICAN qualification is mandatory (ACA or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
