Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and the development of efficient financial processes to support the rapid growth of our tech organization. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the organization’s financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing financial reports, and supporting strategic financial decisions. The role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and integrity.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure cost efficiency.
Support management in financial forecasting and analysis.
Develop and implement internal control policies and accounting procedures.
Assist with audits, both internal and external.
Generate invoices, track payments, and manage petty cash.
Collaborate with department heads on financial planning and reporting.
Advise management on cost optimization and revenue improvement strategies.

Requirements:

B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax laws.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Sage).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
