Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record all financial transactions for outlets, including sales, purchases, cash, and bank transactions.
- Maintain accurate ledgers for all restaurants, including petty cash, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Reconcile cash and card sales daily to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Track food, beverage, and packaging inventory for all outlets.
- Assist in calculating food cost percentages and monitor wastage.
- Collaborate with Operations Manager on cost reduction strategies.
- Generate variance reports comparing actual vs. budgeted costs.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and expense reports per outlet.
- Assist management in profit and loss analysis for each location.
- Provide insights on revenue trends, cost drivers, and efficiency improvements.
Compliance & Tax
- Ensure adherence to local tax regulations (VAT, WHT, PAYE).
- Maintain accurate records to support audits.
- Submit statutory returns and coordinate with external auditors when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a B.Sc. qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
