Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing budgets, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
Handle tax computations, remittances, and statutory filings.
Support audits and financial reviews.
Provide management with financial analysis and cost-saving recommendations.

Requirements:

B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail or FMCG.
Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or in view) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally.
Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Must reside within or around Surulere or nearby areas.

Benefits:

Remuneration: NGN 200,000–280,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
