Accountant
Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and analytical Male Accountant to manage financial records, monitor transactions, prepare financial reports, and support the organisation's accounting operations. The ideal candidate must be trustworthy, organised, proficient in accounting procedures, and capable of maintaining accurate financial records.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions, income, and expenditure.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and periodic account reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions.
- Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and expense monitoring.
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate financial discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with relevant accounting procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in an accounting role is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Must be willing to work in Enugu State.
- Male preferable
