Job summary
The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role supports financial planning, budgeting, and internal controls to maintain the organization’s financial health.

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
- Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Support audits by providing required financial information and reports.
- Monitor expenses and recommend cost control measures.
- Use accounting software to maintain financial data and records.
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 1–5 years experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good analytical, numerical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA) is a strong advantage.
