Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing the financial reporting and accounting functions of the organization. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely preparation of all financial records. The Accountant will handle daily bookkeeping, prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, and support budgeting and audit processes.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and vendor payments.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts.
Assist in budget preparation and financial planning activities.
Ensure statutory compliance with tax, regulatory, and audit requirements.
Support internal and external audit processes.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
Recommend improvements to financial systems and controls.

Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
