Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant position based in Port Harcourt. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, overseeing compliance with laws and regulations, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate financial documentation. Additional duties include conducting audits, monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with other departments to provide actionable financial insights.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and financial analysis
• Knowledge of accounting software and tools, including spreadsheets and financial management systems
• Strong understanding of budgeting, tax compliance, and audit principles
• Excellent organizational, time management, and detail-oriented skills
• Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable business insights
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Prior experience in an accounting role is preferred
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus
