Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and tax obligations.
• Process payroll and related financial documentation.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Monitor inventory-related financial transactions.
• Implement and improve accounting controls and procedures.
• Utilize accounting software for financial reporting and record-keeping.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, e-commerce, supermarket, or grocery business environments is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards.
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Remuneration: NGN 300,000 – NGN 400,000 Monthly
