Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, invoices, receipts, and accounting documentation.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, statements, and management reports.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and daily financial transactions.
- Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, accounting standards, and company financial policies.
Requirements:
- B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- ICAN/ACCA certification is an added advantage.
