Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and ledgers.
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
- Process statutory remittances, including PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension, and other regulatory obligations.
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, and expenditures while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ACA) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years' accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
