Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Restaurant Accountant to manage the financial operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, monitor costs, maintain compliance, and provide valuable insights to support business growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash sales, and POS transactions.
- Monitor food, beverage, and operational costs.
- Prepare payroll and ensure timely salary payments.
- Generate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Conduct inventory audits and analyze stock variances.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate accounting records using accounting software.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, ANAN, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years' accounting experience, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check
