We are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic growth.

Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
- Oversee capital structure, funding strategies, and investment decisions.
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Oversee internal controls and audit processes.
Operational Leadership:
- Implement systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other executives to align financial strategies with operational goals.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to the board of directors, investors, and external partners.
- Build strong relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., ICAN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years in financial management, with proven leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, corporate finance, and investment analysis.
- Expertise in accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
o Proficiency in Excel, Sage 50, QuickBooks, or any other financial software.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional decision-making.
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Achievement of revenue, profit, and cash flow targets.
- Effectiveness of risk management and compliance.
- Contribution to strategic growth initiatives.
- Employee engagement and leadership within the finance team.
Remuneration: NGN 250,000-300,000 (net)
Employment Type: Full-time-Onsite, 8 am-5 pm
