Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability. 
  • Oversee capital structure, funding strategies, and investment decisions.


Financial Management & Reporting:

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.


Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
  • Oversee internal controls and audit processes.


Operational Leadership:

  • Implement systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other executives to align financial strategies with operational goals.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate financial performance and strategy to the board of directors, investors, and external partners.
  • Build strong relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., ICAN preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in financial management, with proven leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, corporate finance, and investment analysis.
  • Expertise in accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP). o Proficiency in Excel, Sage 50, QuickBooks, or any other financial software.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional decision-making. 
  • Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Achievement of revenue, profit, and cash flow targets.
  • Effectiveness of risk management and compliance.
  • Contribution to strategic growth initiatives.
  • Employee engagement and leadership within the finance team.


Remuneration: NGN 250,000-300,000 (net)

Employment Type: Full-time-Onsite, 8 am-5 pm

Location: Yaba
