Responsibilities:
- Reconcile company bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers accurately.
- Complete detailed analysis of employee expenditures and financial obligations.
- Manage income and expenditure accounts across departments.
- Generate timely financial reports using income and expenditure data.
- To ensure the company's finances are maintained in good standing based on financial records.
- File, remit, and manage tax submissions and other statutory financial obligations.
- Initiate and manage financial accounting software for efficient reporting and analysis.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Maintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
- Collaborate with management to enhance financial decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- OND/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
- Basic understanding of accounting rules, regulations, and procedures (GAAP knowledge).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Basic spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks effectively.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
