Account Officer
Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Officer to support the company’s financial operations, reporting, compliance, and record-keeping.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions and bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoices and payments.
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Monitor cash flow and outstanding receivables.
- Prepare VAT, PAYE, withholding tax, and other statutory returns.
- Support internal and external audits and maintain proper financial documentation.
- Assist with payroll preparation and verification.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and statutory requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
