Job Summary

We are seeking to recruit for the position of Account Manager. A professional Account Manager is needed to drive business growth and maximize revenue for the company. The Account Manager is responsible for collaborating closely with the team to expand the customer base, achieve sales targets, and identify areas for improvement. The position requires strong sales experience, strategic thinking, and a good understanding of the chemical industry and market dynamics.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and sales goals.
  • Understand customer needs to inform sales initiatives to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their requirements and expectations.
  • Discuss contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable and aligned with company objectives.
  • Analyze competitors’ activities to inform sales strategies and expand market share.
  • Collaborate with teammates to develop marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Implement systems and tools for effective sales tracking, forecasting, and reportings
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, and expand customer base.
  • Prepare regular reports to the Lead Account Manager providing insights into sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities.

 

Qualifications & Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales management roles, preferably in the chemical distribution industry.
  • Good understanding of sales strategies, pricing models, and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of chemical products and industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Certification in sales or commercial management would be admirable.

Remuneration: NGN 200,000 – 250,000
