Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abuja for a Youtube Manager. The Youtube Manager will be responsible for managing the Africa Housing News YouTube channel. Core responsibilities include creating and implementing a content strategy, managing video uploads, optimizing videos for search engine visibility (SEO), analyzing performance metrics, and crafting strategies to grow the channel’s audience and engagement. Additionally, the YouTube Manager will collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with overarching business objectives and brand guidelines.
Qualifications

• Video production and editing skills, with experience in using video editing software and tools
• Strong expertise in YouTube SEO practices, audience analytics, and engagement strategies
• Proficiency in content strategy planning and execution tailored to YouTube audiences
• Ability to develop, schedule, and manage video publishing calendars effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work alongside team members and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with trends in digital content, social media platforms, and audience engagement best practices
• Background in media, communications, or related fields is an advantage
