Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a WordPress/Software Developer based in Abuja. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites and custom software solutions. The developer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including coding, programming, and ensuring website performance and functionality. The role also requires troubleshooting, website optimization, and collaborating with other team members to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Must reside in Abuja
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including a deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including server-side scripting and database management
- Experience in Software Development, including creating, testing, and maintaining custom applications
- Expertise in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), particularly in WordPress-related projects
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to debug and optimize code for performance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is an added advantage
- Experience with content management system (CMS) customization and plugin development is a plus
