Role Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all staff welfare matters, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure employee well-being.
  •  Manage daily catering operations, including meal planning, preparation, portion control, and scheduling to meet nutritional requirements and cultural preferences.
  • Supervise chefs, kitchen staff, and cleaning personnel, including duty allocation and staffing schedules.
  • Oversee food procurement, including market sourcing, vendor relationships, inventory control, and cost-effective purchasing.
  • Ensure food quality, hygiene, and safety compliance in line with HSE and regulatory standards.
  • Manage staff accommodation, ensuring acceptable living standards, cleanliness, and housekeeping services.
  • Coordinate routine welfare inspections, maintenance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HSE personnel to maintain compliance with company policies and occupational health standards.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Catering, Nutrition, Public Health, Administration or related discipline
  • Proven experience in hospitality operations, catering supervision or welfare management
  • Good supervisory and people-management skills
  • Knowledge of food procurement, market sourcing, and inventory control
  • Good understanding of nutrition, food safety, and HSE standards.
  • Cost control and budgeting skills
  • Excellend organizational and communication skills
  • Ablity to work in a multicultural environment
